At Punchdrunk Panda (PdP), we have the pleasure to work with various artists. We are proud to say that our products are made by talented Filipino designers and by Filipino craftsmen and women.

For this feature, we would like to talk about how we got involved with Alessandra Lanot. Alessandra Lanot is a crafter and designer from Manila, Philippines. Through lifeafterbreakfast.ph, she regularly holds Watercolor, Rubber-cut Stamping, and Intro to Modern Calligraphy workshops, to promote creative thinking and inspired living.
Gail, the co-founder of Punchdrunk Panda, has been a huge fan of Alessa's creations, be it her watercolour, rubber stamps, calligraphy, and even Pipino! In fact, a few years back, Punchdrunk Panda already collaborated with Alessa on a camera strap design called Eat Your Veggies!
Just like the story with Soleil, it took a couple of years to collaborate with Alessa again. Alyssa is very busy and timing has always been an issue... so of course, we had to patiently wait for the perfect window to work with Alessa! Thank you, time!
The Inky Kisses duffle bag design was inspired by an IG post from Alessa. Just like that, it became another Eureka moment for Gail. She envisioned this duffle bag that will be screaming in neon pink canvas to match with the Inky Kisses design!
Gail would claim that every bag is her personal favourite but this is something she would definitely bring with her to the gym or to a peak of some mountain. She think the brightness of the bag compensates for her boyish-ness. :">
See some of Alessa's works below. You will be inspired to be crafty too!
