Hey there, fellow artists and art lovers! As you all may know, The Craft Central is one of our partners in bringing our quirky items to our followers across the Metro. Though we’re not traditionally an arts and crafts brand like the brands they have in-store, they took a chance on us and welcomed us with open arms. With each branch they open up, they bring more color and art to aspiring artists and crafters in the country. They recently opened up a new store in Vertis North with a new addition to their chain of stores - a cafe.
That’s right, The Craft Central has expanded their range of products to include an in-house cafe called The Craft Central Cafe. Co-owner Monique Ventura explained that they wanted to provide people with a workspace where they can learn a new hobby or work on a project with food and drinks within reach. Customers are encouraged to stroll leisurely through the aisles of craft supplies and items, ending their visit with a good hearty meal and cup of coffee. This has been one of their plans since they opened their first physical store in 2016. We’re happy that they’re achieving their dreams and that we’re part of it as well.
Having the dining space also allows for future events, like workshops and talks, to be held in the store. The Craft Central has always been champions of sharing art and knowledge through such events, and we’re definitely looking forward to going to one with food from their cafe! The new store is set to have a grand opening weekend from May 18 to 20, so make sure to head over to Vertis North on those dates to try out their menu and buy awesome arts and crafts materials while you’re at it. Trust us, their food isn’t only ‘Gram-worthy, they’re super yummy too! Their kitchen is headed by Chef Geremy Kho, who comes up with the masterpieces and tummy delights you’ll be enjoying when you drop by their Vertis North branch.
If you’re interested in dropping by their cafe-slash-art shop, do make sure to check out the select Punchdrunk Panda organizers and pins they have on their shelves. Make sure to tag us in your photos!
